How we make money

A site that stays quiet about its business model is asking to be trusted for the wrong reason.

01

The model

When a reader starts a consultation with a regulated telehealth service through a link on this site, that service may pay us a commission. It costs the reader nothing extra and it does not change the price they pay.

Links that are paid carry a disclosure directly next to the button, not only in the footer, and are marked as sponsored in the page code.

02

What money does not buy

It does not buy a place on the list. A service appears here only if we can name its regulator and find its entry in a public register.

It does not buy a better description. What we write about a service comes from checking it, and the date we checked is printed on the page.

It does not buy the removal of an inconvenient fact. If a service has a restriction worth knowing about, it stays on the page.

03

What we will not sell

We do not take money from sellers that dispense prescription medicine without a prescription, from any site offering to ship prescription drugs without a consultation, or for placing a medicine higher in a comparison. The entire point of this site is that those things are what makes the rest of this search results page untrustworthy.
