About ePharmaRx
A reference to prescription medicine in four languages, built from the product information that regulators approved.
01
What this site is
ePharmaRx is a catalogue of medicines in six areas where the search results are dominated by sites selling prescription drugs without a prescription. It exists because the honest version of that information is hard to find, not because there is a shortage of pages about these medicines.
Every factual statement about a medicine on this site is taken from the product information a regulator approved, and every page links to that document so it can be checked. What we write ourselves is marked as written by us and kept separate from the regulator's words on the page itself, not just in a policy.
02
What this site is not
It is not a pharmacy. Nothing can be ordered here, no medicine is dispensed here, and no prescription is issued here.
It is not medical advice. It reports what documents say and never tells a reader what to take. Deciding between two medicines is a judgement about one person's history, and that judgement belongs to a doctor or a pharmacist who has that history in front of them.
It is not a medically reviewed publication. No doctor has reviewed these pages, and we do not pretend otherwise by putting a name and a title at the bottom of them.
03
Who writes it
A small editorial team, working from public regulatory sources. We are not clinicians. That is exactly why the site is built so that the medical content comes from documents written by people who are, and why our own writing is confined to comparison, pricing and process, where being careful and literate is enough.
